Day 2 Wrap-Up

Congratulations to Adam Munkhzaya, the second-ever Format Library Champion!
Picture
The story of this Top 4 is told in the thumbnails of the VODs: FLC2 was a battle between Goat Control and Thunder Dragon Chaos all the way to the bitter end. Munkhzaya's Day 2 run began with his bubble win over Damage Step's HyperBeam in a Thunder Dragon mirror in the final round of Swiss. From there, he faced two Goat Control decks, one piloted by Damage Step's Mascis, and another in the hands of Fluffy Lions leader Lucas (AKA "Teh Resl Lion Kang"). A tense four-game Grand Finals was clinched by Munkhzaya's signature card, Divine Wrath, and the rest was history: Munkhzaya had completed a Day 2 gauntlet of three GoatRanked players to claim the title of Format Library Champion!

The Goat Format community will have two entire premier-level events between now and the next FLC in April: first, the Winter Seasonal Playoffs on DuelistGroundz.com, featuring Format Library's own Jazz, and second, DCS Dallas, an open tournament hosted by the same community and featuring much of the same top-level talent. Goat Format duelists have a lot on their plate in the coming months of competitive play, and it would certainly behoove any aspiring competitive player to review and study the footage and coverage from this event, the latest of many stages of innovation in the format that just never stops being awesome. Congratulations to Adam Munkhzaya and all of our Day 2 competitors for Format Library Championship II!
