Drain Beatdown

Drain Beatdown article goes here.

Modern Era Deck Lists (2017 - present):
The Modern Era of Goat Format coincides with the release of DuelingBook.com, which offers a Goat Format dueling lobby. These lists are a collection of personal, contributor, and tournament winning decks.
DRAIN BEATDOWN - YNUS
This is Ynusgridorh's Skill Drain Beatdown deck. It runs a total of 8 floodgates (King Tiger Wanghu, Royal Oppression, and Skill Drain) that lock up a typical Standard Goat or Chaos deck's options, while its powerful monsters provide a condensed turn clock. Unfortunately, Royal Oppression cannot be activated and resolve in response to the opponent attempting a special summon; it needs to be face-up on the field before the attempt. However, it will still lock the opponent out of special summoning monsters if it is activated in their draw phase.

Historic Era Deck Lists (2005):
The Historic Era of Goat Format coincided with the Advanced Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG tournaments that took place between June and August of 2005. The purpose of displaying these decks is to give historical context to the decks of the Modern Era.
SKILL DRAIN BEATDOWN - JEFF RIZZO

This is a Skill Drain Beatdown deck that I found when searching the metagame.com archives, piloted by Jeff Rizzo during the US Nationals LCQs. The deck is clearly overly reliant and Skill Drain and crumbles without it, but it shows that players were aware of the card at the time, but simply couldn’t make it work. It’s a little too cute and inconsistent, a phenomenon that clearly plagued Aggro deck construction at the time.
