Okay, now this is getting ridiculous. Today's 30-person FLC shattered the previous record, with an astounding 56% of players choosing to play decks built around Thunder Dragon for this tournament. These were split right down the middle between Thunder Dragon Chaos Control and Chaos Turbo decks, coming in at 26% each. Goat Control and Warrior decks held steady at about 13% and 7%, respectively. Notably, the winner of the tournament actually played Chaos Return, not Turbo or Control. Additionally, there were no Chaos Turbo decks in the Top 4, indicated that most duelists were prepared for that matchup.

Enter the next Format Library Championship in September to see if you can knock out the reigning champ! As the Goat Format metagame continues to evolve, Thunder Dragon has emerged as the most popular defining card. A whopping 45% of decks relied on Thunder Dragon as an engine. Slightly more of these were the slower, more versatile Thunder Dragon Chaos Control decks than the speedier, all-in Chaos Turbo decks. As a result, we've seen more duelists main decking cards like Trap Dustshoot and Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer.
